Psychotherapy, otherwise known as talk therapy, is the process by which you and a therapist use communication and the therapeutic relationship to help you better understand - and sometimes change - your thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Your therapist will consider many aspects of who you are in an effort to help, including what you say (and sometimes what you don’t), your personality, your goals, your relationships with others, your relationship with yourself, and your evolving desires. This therapy relationship is one-sided in that it exists solely to help and support you.
We endeavor to patiently and gently support you in your process of understanding yourself and, oftentimes, others in your life. Through careful attunement and insight, we strive to be a catalyst for the change you seek and want to help you have the life you wish for yourself.
